I would like to update you guys on a few things. I have been very busy with stuff outside of deviantART and also I've been busy with my other group, #AddictsOfPhotography , so, I was wondering if a few people could help and make this group even better.

Then the news broke that anti-gay activists are using the government's gay gag laws to sue Madonna for $10,000,000 in "moral damages" because she spoke up for gay Russians in a concert this week. If that wasn't enough, punk band Pussy Riot was sentenced just this morning to two years in prison for speaking out against the government. The judge cited "homosexual propaganda" as one reason to bring the hammer down on the three young women - two of them moms.

In 1997, a man in Queensland, Australia killed a gay man who he claimed flirted with him by bashing his head into a wall and stabbing him to death. Today, "gay panic" is still a legal defense for murder in Queensland that can result in lesser charges.
In fact, just two years ago, a man was brutally killed in a Queensland churchyard, and his killer used the "gay panic" defense in court. He was subsequently acquitted of murder.

The end of 'gay cures'? Spread the word
For the past 30 years, phony "gay cures" have pushed thousands of gay and lesbian people around the world to self-destructive behavior and even suicide. This needs to stop.
Last week, the leading organization behind these "gay cures" publicly acknowledged that they were a fraud. But one major splinter group, "Desert Stream", is refusing to bring this lucrative business to end.
